License end date not updated after renewing
Description
After renewing a license and either activating or uploading the license to your instance, the end date of the license in the dashboard may not get updated immediately.
This could be because the start date of the renewal term is in the future:
- With online cloud licensing, the renewal is automatically synced to your instance on the start date of the new license term, provided the connection between the instance and our servers are intact.
- With an offline cloud license or legacy license file, the instance switches to the new license on the license start date.
License information for each license file is stored in the Subscription History
table. To view the table, go to Admin -> Subscription.

Resolution
- Check either the start date of the renewed license term or the end date of the license currently shown on your dashboard.
- Wait until the date noted in step 1.
- On this date, verify that the new license is synced to the instance.
- If the license end date is not updated on this date, try to trigger a subscription sync manually.
- If the manual sync does not help, please open a Support ticket for further assistance.
